Are you passionate about precision and quality? We're seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer/Inspector to ensure our products meet the highest standards and exceed customer expectations. You'll be a key player in promoting a right-first-time approach and continuous improvement ethos within our AS9100 quality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct 1st off, interim, and final inspections.
- Utilize SFDC (Shop Floor Data Collection) for accurate job tracking and logging.
- Inspect externally supplied materials, goods, and parts.
- Complete First Article to AS9102, PPAPs, and inspection reports (ISIR).
- Ensure adherence to plans and procedures, with accurate documentation.
- Perform reject analysis, root cause analysis, and complete RCCA/NCR reports.
- Handle concession requests and provide team support as needed.
- Assist with contract reviews and liaise with customers on quality matters.
- Conduct internal audits and use/program CMM Measuring Equipment.
- Utilize all relevant Metrology Equipment and conduct part marking.
Key Skills:
- Experience:** Minimum of 5 years in a precision machining inspection department (aerospace, F1, defence).
- Metrology:** At least 5 years of experience using metrology equipment.
- CMM Programming:** Minimum of 3 years with Aberlink CMM Programming (experience with Mcosmos or PC DMIS considered).
- Attention to Detail:** A very good eye for detail is essential.
- Problem-Solving:** Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Tech-Savvy:** Computer literate with the ability to read and follow work instructions.
- Learning Attitude:** Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
