Are you passionate about precision and quality? We're seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer/Inspector to ensure our products meet the highest standards and exceed customer expectations. You'll be a key player in promoting a right-first-time approach and continuous improvement ethos within our AS9100 quality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct 1st off, interim, and final inspections.
  • Utilize SFDC (Shop Floor Data Collection) for accurate job tracking and logging.
  • Inspect externally supplied materials, goods, and parts.
  • Complete First Article to AS9102, PPAPs, and inspection reports (ISIR).
  • Ensure adherence to plans and procedures, with accurate documentation.
  • Perform reject analysis, root cause analysis, and complete RCCA/NCR reports.
  • Handle concession requests and provide team support as needed.
  • Assist with contract reviews and liaise with customers on quality matters.
  • Conduct internal audits and use/program CMM Measuring Equipment.
  • Utilize all relevant Metrology Equipment and conduct part marking.

Key Skills:

  • Experience:** Minimum of 5 years in a precision machining inspection department (aerospace, F1, defence).
  • Metrology:** At least 5 years of experience using metrology equipment.
  • CMM Programming:** Minimum of 3 years with Aberlink CMM Programming (experience with Mcosmos or PC DMIS considered).
  • Attention to Detail:** A very good eye for detail is essential.
  • Problem-Solving:** Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
  • Tech-Savvy:** Computer literate with the ability to read and follow work instructions.
  • Learning Attitude:** Willingness to learn and develop within the role.
