IT Support Engineer – Full-Time
Based in Maidstone, Kent (80% on-site, occasional local travel)
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per year
Are you an IT Support Engineer looking for a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment? This is an opportunity to join a national construction company, providing technical support to employees across multiple sites.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing 2nd line IT support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and software.
- Handling high-volume support calls from construction workers with a friendly, problem-solving approach.
- Managing user accounts and troubleshooting issues across Active Directory, MS Office, and other internal systems.
- Supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure, including servers, network switches, and wireless systems.
- Ensuring smooth IT operations through proactive maintenance and system monitoring.
- Travelling to local sites as required (company van provided).
Shift Pattern:
- Rotating shifts: 07:00-16:00, 08:00-17:00, 09:00-18:00 (flexibility available for those who can commit to only one shift).
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in IT support, ideally in a 2nd line role.
- Strong communication skills with a positive and customer-friendly attitude.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
