About our client:
Our client are a precision engineering company with over 50 years of excellence in the industry. Specializing in bespoke supply complete solutions, they serve a diverse range of sectors including aerospace, defence, nuclear, and medical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate & Program CNC Mills: Independently program and operate two 3-axis VM20i’s and a 5-axis VMX30Ui CNC Mill.
- Programming: Utilize conventional programming in WinMax, using DXF, and NC programming in Fusion 360.
- Tool Management: Efficiently manage tools and setups.
- Technical Skills: Read and interpret technical drawings with precision.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of engineering hygiene and a keen eye for detail.
- Material Handling: Experience in machining aluminium and plastics, and working with free issue components.
Requirements:
- IT Skills: Proficient with IT systems relevant to CNC machining.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage tasks and workflows effectively.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the team and other departments.
- Reliability: Dependable and punctual, committed to delivering high-quality work.

Hours: Mon – Fri, 40 hours (alternating weeks - early and late shifts)
Early Shift: Monday - Thursday (06:00 - 15:00)
Friday (06:00 – 18:00)
Late Shift: Monday – Thursday (14:15 – 22:45)
